Kanchenjunga Region

Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. Kanchenjunga is located in eastern part of Nepal and boarder of Sikkim, India. Kanchenjunga is limited in the west by the Tamur River, in the north by the Lhonak Chu and Jongsang La and in the east by Teesta River. Kanchenjunga is also known by Five Treasures of Snow.  Kanchenjunga Region is very much popular Region for stunning scene of various high Himalayas and Peaks. Except Mt. Kanchenjunga there are four other subsidiary summits exceed 8000m, the most important being Kanchenjunga West, also known as Yalung Kang (8,505m). Of some twenty peaks exceeding 7,000m, the highest are Kambachen (7,903m), Jannu (7,710m), Jongsong (7,483m), Kabru (7,353m), Tent Peak (7,365m) and the Twins (7,350m).
