Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrival day in Kathmandu Namaste and welcome to Nepal. Alpine Excursion Treks and expedition's representative welcome you warmly at the Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to the hotel. You take rest and enjoy your meal in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02Sightseeing of Kathmandu City.After the breakfast, you set out for the sightseeing trip in the Kathmandu valley. Our expert tour guide shows you the UNESCO world heritage sites, which include Pashupatinath (the Hindu temple), Boudhanath (Buddhist stupa), Swayambhunath (Buddhist stupa and temple). Then, return back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03Drive/Fly to Pokhara (820 meters).Today, we drive or fly to Pokhara, the city of Lakes. Driving through the highway takes about 6 hours and flight is just about half an hour. The views that can be explored during the driving are breathtaking. The winding road along the bank of the River is wonderful. Once you reach Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04About 1 hrs drive to Nayapul and trek to Hile (1430 meters)/Ulleri. 3-4 hrs After breakfast, we take a drive to Nayapul from Pokhara for about an hour. Walking about 45 minutes, we reach to the checkpoint of Annapurna Conservation Area project (ACAP). Then we take a walk through the terraced hillside. The stream and chirping sound of birds make the walking enchanting. The trail is gentle and we reach to the destination after 3-4 hrs walk. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05Trek to Ghorepani (2860 meters). 5-6 hrsWe begin to climb after the breakfast at Hile. Crossing the steel bridge, we ascend the steep up trail through the steps. It is based on your pace of walking, may take 1.5-2 hrs to reach the Ulleri top. From Banthanti, we walk all the way through the rhododendron forest. The trail is peaceful and wonderful. You play hide and seek with the sun and clouds. Ghorepani is also surrounded by the rhododendron forest, which is a tiny Magar ethnic community.

Day 06Ghorepani to Tadapani via Poon Hill (3210 meters). 7 hoursEarly in the morning, we hike to Poon Hill for about 45 minutes. From Poon Hill, we can explore the Annapurna Himalayan panoramas, Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu and other several mountains. Then we descend to Ghorepani and have breakfast. Then we ascend through the forest to Deurali. The rock walls that appear while walking are amazing. We take a pretty much long walk along the stream. With up and down the trail, we reach to Tadapani. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 07Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m). 4-5 hours. After breakfast, we climb down from Tadapani through the forest. The trail is steep down and is wonderful with the waterfall view. Gradually we reach to the suspension bridge and cross the stream. Ascending through the stone steps, we reach to the Chhomrung village, which is a picturesque one. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08Chhomrong to Doobhan (2600m). 5-6 hours.Gradually, we begin to walk in the morning passing Sinuwa. The view of Mt. Annapurna and Ghandruk village can be explored from this place. Then we walk further through the forest dominated trail. The views include the wilderness of various trees and it is just splendid to walk with the chirping sound of birds to Bamboo via Khuldighar. We continually climb up to the juncture of the streams, known as Dobhan, where few lodges are available. Overnight at lodge.

Day 09Dobhan to Deurali (3230m). 5-6 hours. We walk through the bamboo forest from the very beginning and climb up. The trail to Himalaya Hotel is dominated by the by the forest. We pass the Barah temple. On the way, we pass the Hinku Cave, located at 3170 meters. Walking through the huge rocky boulders, we cross the stream and reach to Deurali. Overnight at lodge.

Day 10Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m.) 5-6 hrs.After breakfast, we proceed through the moderate trail, continually climbing through the steep trail, sometimes on the river bank and hike up to the MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp). The breathtaking Himalayan views of Mt. Annapurna, Annapurna I, III, Himchuli and other peaks can be seen extremely stunning. We are already in 3700 meters altitude. We take a rest here. Overnight at lodge.

Day 11Rest day at Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Machhapuchhre base camp is a wonderful viewpoint to spend a rest day, it is just brilliant. On the other hand, we can also acclimatize easily. We take a walk around it and enjoy the day, taking abundant photographs. Overnight at lodge.

Day 12Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters) and down to Himalaya. 6-7 hrsNow the alpine vegetation prevails on the way and the alpine rocky landscape. Annapurna Base Camp lies near and it is in the shape of open amphitheater. It is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. We can enjoy the sunset views over the Annapurna massifs. Strolling around the base camp, we see around and trek down to Himalaya. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 13Trek down to Jhinu Danda (1780 meters).The spectacular view of the sunrise from Himalaya wakes you up with a great excitement. Having a hot breakfast, we begin to trek down to Bamboo through the same route. We reach to Bamboo and trek down further via Sinuwa and Chhomrung to reach Jhinu Danda. Of course, the enjoyment of the natural hot spring bath is there. Overnight at lodge.

Day 14Trek to Kimche (1640 m) 3-4 hrs and drive to Pokhara by private vehicle. Through the gentle trail, we reach to Kimche, where we can catch the jeep. Then we take about 2.5 hrs drive to Pokhara, checking out from the ACAP check post. Then transfer to the hotel in Pokhara. You can stroll around the Lake side in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15Rest Day (sightseeing in Pokhara). The rest day in Pokhara is excellent to see the things around and enjoy the water fun along with Pokhara city sightseeing. We can visit the David's Falls, Seti Gorge, go to the cave, visit mountaineering museum and enjoy boating in Phewa Lake. Pokhara is the city of Lakes and the setting of this city is incredible. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16Drive back to Kathmandu. 6-7 hoursAfter breakfast in the morning, we drive to the tourist bus park and drive further to Kathmandu. It is again about 6 hours' drive on the highway. You reach to Kathmandu and transferred to hotel. Enjoy the evening with your group and take a rest. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 17Final departureThe last day of the trip, the representative of the Alpine Excursion Treks and Expedition drops you to the airport. Thank you for joining us for your memorable trip. See you again.
